I’ve never heard of this before...it’s certainly different...!

Funny fact : Marden were manufactured near Dieppe, where Alpine/Renault Sport is from.

325cc of throbbing diesel action, it will be slow and noisey.

The smallest garbage truck in town! ;-)

It has a chunky 80s futurism to it. Looks like it should be on the set of some sci fi movie.

If you ever wonder where Johnny Cab from Total Recall got their look from....

Yeah, reminds me of something from the original Total Recall...

I’d still drive it because I’m weird :P

Very much so, but unique, at least if it was over here in Canada!

Actually never seen that one.

Also, I found you your own car! Very reasonable price but unreasonably far away from you.

Yay! We need more MC Accent hatches on Oppo! :P
Borsuq once found one in Poland where he lives...though most Accents of my generation in Europe were 1.4L engines rather than the 1.6L we got here...the rear lights were also wired differently there!

I won’t be buying it but it looks to be in shockingly good condition for the miles. It has clearly been garaged as the paint still looks fresh. The headlights aren’t even faded! And the interior is perfect. Who besides you keeps an Accent in this good of condition over 185,000 miles?
It probably would have made less sense for that one Borsuq saw to have been a four door sedan. I know Hyundai doesn’t have a huge presence over there but it seems like an entry two door hatch would have been the most common sort of car for them to sell.
I know someone here once spotted a US spec Toyota Echo coupe in England and I still wonder about that. Especially considering the Pl atz/Vitz was a much more practical hatch body style over there.

I am not sure which they sold more of over there in Europe....I’ve seen more hatches in pics, but who knows! :)
